Atheist Sues Army
A Specialist is suing the US Army, saying he was harassed and his constitutional rights have been violated because he’s an atheist. Jeremy Hall says he lead a meeting last year at Camp Speicher north of Baghdad when an officer began berating and threatening him because of his beliefs. He was sent home early from Iraq because of threats from fellow soldiers. The Defense Department had no comment on the lawsuit.
