Pope Retreats on Bishop Promotion

The Vatican has done an about face and stopped the promotion of a priest to Bishop who has said God punished New Orleans with Hurricane Katrina because of "spiritual pollution". Pope Benedict formally rescinded the offer to Gerhard Maria Wagner. He also described the Harry Potter novels as “satanic”.
