Abuse Accusations

A Harlem pastor is denying allegations he sexually abused a minor two decades ago. Wallace Harris was one of the organizers of Pope Benedict XVI’s visit to New York. The archdiocese says he will not be allowed to serve as a pastor until it completes an investigation. The New York DA’s office says it will not be involved because the statute of limitations for the complaint has run out.
