Haggard Apologizes

Ted Haggard is apologizing for his relationship with a church member while pastor at New Life Church in Colorado Springs. Current pastor Brady Boyd told the congregation that the church paid the young man off with insurance money. Even though the man says they had a sexual relationship, Haggard says there was no physical contact between them. Haggard resigned from New Life in 2006 after revelations of gay sex with a male prostitute. This week, HBO will show a documentary on what happened called The Trials of Ted Haggard. It was put together by the daughter of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
