Kidnapping Hoax

A Tampa, Florida pastor faked his own kidnapping to cover up an affair. Seventh Day Adventist Church of Reform pastor Wikler Moran-Mora sent his wife a series of texts messages saying he had been kidnapped but was negotiating his release. She called police and they tracked him down with another woman. Moran-Mora has been charged with sending a false report to law enforcement.

Fire Damages Reginal HQs

A fire over the weekend damaged the regional headquarters of the Seventh-day Adventist Church west of Spokane. The office serves 30 Seventh-day Adventist schools and 117 churches. The cause of the blaze is still under investigation.

WOMAN THROWN OFF BUS

Christine Lutz was told to get off the city bus she was riding on because she was reading the Bible aloud to her children. The Fort Worth Seventh Day Adventist was on her way to church when the bus driver made the demand.
