Prison Monument

A monument at the gates of Louisiana's maximum security prison used to have a Bible Verse on it. Not any more. The warden had it stripped off after the ACLU complained. It was Philippians 3:13. Next to go: A Prayer of Protection inscribed on the opposite side of the Bible verse. It says: The light of God surrounds you. The love of God enfolds you. The power of God protects you. And the presence of God watches over you; Wherever you are, God is.
