Wildmon Resigns

Donald Wildmon has resigned as chairman of the American Family Association based in Mississippi. The 72-year-old founded the organization in 1977 but has been hospitalized for months and is battling encephalitis and cancer. His son, Tim, is expected to lead the ministry that owns some 180 radio stations and has a $20 million annual budget that owns 180 radio stations.
