Smith's Deny School Pushes Scientology

Will Smith and his wife opened a private school this year based on instructional methods developed by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard. But Jada Pinkett Smith insists it’s not a Scientology school. Students are pushed to keep retaking tests until they score 100%.

The New Village Leadership Academy has 60 students and hopes to expand. She’s also been tapped to star in a new series on TNT called HawthoRNe. The couple have two children, ages eight and ten.

Scientology's "Study Tech" came from the demented mind of con man L.Ron Hubbard. It has been examined and totally discredited by many legitimate educators such as Dr. David Touretzky at Carnegie Mellon University (see http://www.studytech.org/study_tech.php).

The only purpose of a Scientology school is PR, recruitment, and to indoctrinate children into the Cult of Scientology. There is nothing commendable about that. (check out http://ExScientologyKids.com to read the stories from kids who went through Scientology schools)

It would have been better if the Smiths donated those millions to the LA Public school system in some capacity, perhaps funding an after school program or buying supplies or technology. That would have really been helpful. What they did instead is just a sham. Because of recent efforts to expose the cult, these types of "good PR" games are being more critically examined by the public than in the recent past. The cult cannot hide anymore. More and more people are on to the scam.

Scientology: It is WORSE than you think.
